Formaldehyde is deodorized by two methods as chemical reaction mechanism as well as chemical absorption and decomposition mechanism with nitrogen compound and some kinds of metallic salt which are contained in porous functional special high polymer material treated on the surface of carpet.

(A) Formaldehyde is decomposed into safe material by chemical reaction.
Formaldehyde which is combined with special nitrogen compound is decomposed into other safe chemical materials.

This chemical reaction mechanism is a chemical reaction and superior reactive material is used in it, therefore it has an immediate effect and is superior
in initial performance.

(B)
Formaldehyde is decomposed into other safe chemical materials by catalysis. And at the same
time, deodorizing performance is recycled.
Formaldehyde which is combined with special metallic salt is decomposed by catalysis of metallic salt. As metallic salt is recycled, deodorization works repeatedly.

Chemical absorption & decomposition mechanism(B) has no bigger initial deodorant effect thanchemical reaction mechanism(A), but is superior in keeping its performance, as this is a“recycled deodorization” , regenerating deodorant performance with decomposing formaldehyde at a time.

With a combination of mechanism A and B, we can expect very strong deodorant performance.
